It all started with a rose on Hinge, which led Hannah and her friends to lovingly dub Alex as “Rose Boy”(hence all the roses you’ll see!).

On February 7, 2022, we went on our first date to a Mexican restaurant in Smyrna. We had an instant and easy connection that neither of us had ever felt before. After going through four different servers, we shut down the restaurant because we couldn’t stop talking. This led to a trend over the next several months where we were the last people to leave every restaurant we went to. We could never get enough time together, and, since neither of us really cook, we still love our restaurant dates all the same today.

On November 19, 2023, Alex proposed to Hannah at a park near our first date spot. His cover story was that we were going to a co-worker’s baby shower, and we even bought a gift. We were walking up to the beautiful set-up when Hannah goes “this is the cutest baby shower I have ever seen”. Then, after realizing what was happening, Hannah started to cry. Alex gently led her to the beautiful set-up and proposed, and Hannah said YES! Afterwards, Alex had one last surprise. We returned to our first date spot for the first time, but this time were greeted (and Hannah was surprised by) our family and friends.

On April 5, 2025, we are so excited to be surrounded by even more family and friends to celebrate our wedding. We cannot thank you enough for the impact you have had on our lives, and we hope to see you there!
